Help im really scared its about tampons!!!!!!?
Mika,

Do you mean the tissue at the entrance to the vagina? If so, perhaps you tore part of the hymen. Don't use any more tampons until your next period - give it a chance to heal.

[ Don't worry, you are still a virgin. ]

Follow Rose's directions!

Many young teens have problems with tampons.Make sure you use the proper absorbancy so it won't be so dry - causes

a lot ot discomfort.
Reply:Personally, I've always preferred pads. I did as a teenager, and I still do now (in my 30's).
Reply:I don't understand what is in a circle. The tampon was probably very dry when you tried to remove it and that can hurt. If you use a lower absorbency tampon (lite if you aren't bleeding much) then you won't have the problem. You skin is going to be around the tampon but when pulling it out the skin will move and it will be ok.

Using a tampon at 14 is perfectly safe. If you are old enough to have a period you are old enough to use a tampon. The "paramedic" below can't even spell licensed.
Reply:um......i've never heard of that! maybe you should consider asking someone to help you, like maybe your mom.
Reply:there shouldn't have been a loop of skin. talk to your mom or doctor.
Reply:a loop of skin? I think you should probably go to the doctor or gyno and get that checked out just to be sure. maybe you could talk to your mom about it?
Reply:how did a piece of skin get looped around a tampon? never heard that before. maybe you inserted it wrong. you should talk to your mom about this.
Reply:What size tampons are you using? For your age, you should use the lights, which are slimmer. Also, try using a pad, and keep away from the tampons for a while. If there was skin "looped" around the tampon, then you probably scratched the lining wall of your vagina, or it could be that you have broken the hymen (thin membrane inside the vagina). Not sure about your question, but if you are referring to the tampon being stuck inside your vagina and you can't get it to come out, try lying on your back, relax, and try to pull it out. You can also try using KY Jelly to lubricate the lining of your vagina to get the tampon to come out.
Reply:dont worry- your skin will probably go back to normal soon.

when you use tampons make sure that you are bleeding enough that you will be able to take it out about 4 hours later and it will be at least partly soaked. this will help it come out easier. if there isn't enough lubrication, it will be very difficult to get out.

when you're pulling them out watch to see what you're doing. if you have lots of skin you might also try using two hands if you need to. i know it sounds wierd, but what ever works, right?

good luck!
Reply:my guuess it was "dry" on the way out thats why it hurt. either leave it in for at least 4 hours or try to switch to the slims, or a different kind of tampon. as for the skin looping iam not sure i have never had that problem. did maybe a hair get caught?? good luck
Reply:dont use them use pads your too young anyway .maybe you did something wrong dont use them anymore /tell your mom what happened too!
Reply:Try to push it back up and then with a lubricated finger (Vaseline) move the extra skin out of the way. Then slowly take the tampon out. If you can't get it, then you will need to ask for help.

Make sure you are using SLIM tampons from now on. I suggest using a pad. I do.
Reply:If your tampon was dry when you took it out, its possible for it to hurt more. Try a less absorbant tampon
Reply:I've never heard so such a case either, and I certainly don't share that experience! Ouch...good luck. I think you ought to see a doctor or something, a piece of SKIN? If your tampon doesn't come out properly and if it hurts when you pull it out, it could be that you're using too high an absorbency and the tampon's too dry. That happens to me sometimes...but as far as I know, yes it's okay to use a tampon at your age and that's probably...I hope...not your hymen. =S Best of luck.
Reply:Pads are way better and easier. Tampons can be dangerous. (get pads with wings)
Reply:Sweetie, no matter what people tell you, using tampons at 14 is NOT safe. It hurts coming out for a reason and your body isnt ready for them yet.

You are going to have to reach up with your finger, bending your finger tip and slowly pull it out. Press your finger against it and push it downwards. Do NOT insert another one.
