Plantar's Warts and Duct Tape?

I've been using conventional treatments (over-the-counter gels, cremes, and home freezing stuff) to try and treat several plantar's warts since at least July. One of them did go away, and one has shrunk significantly, but there are three left that are huge and painful.

I've read a lot about the success of duct tape in treatment, but it falls off often unless I practically wrap my whole foot in duct tape, which I would be willing to do, except for the fact that it turns all the skin underneath the duct tape white and doesn't appear that this is a healthy option. (One wart is growing on the pad of my second toe, so after a week of duct tape treatments that involved wrapping my whole toe, the toe itself is almost completely white)

So, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips/suggestions/encouragement about continuing to coat my foot in duct tape.

How about if you cut the duct tape the right shape and size to fit the wart and then use first aid tape or coban (which is like tape size ace bandage material that sticks to itself) to secure it to your skin. First aid tape is made to stick to skin so it is a lot more gentle then duct tape and coban only sticks to the coban not your skin at all. Both should be available in the first aid aisle at any Target or Walmart or at a drug store like Walgreens.
Reply:Sorry, you won't have any luck with duct tape on deeper planter warts.

Planter warts need to be removed by a Podiatrist (a foot doctor). They will continue to return however because plantar warts are caused by a virus. There is no known way to overcome them completely.
