Where's a resource that will help me kick into high gear to get back in shape and lose weight post partum?

I am breastfeeding by the way, and my (third) son is three weeks old today, and I have 25 lbs to lose. My second son is only 15 months old, so I feel like I have been pregnant forever, and out of control of my body. I am ready for some damage control. And what can I do about stretch marks? Anything to help the skin shrink back up more quickly? And any supplements that are safe while breastfeeding? Remember, any exercise plan must incorporate three boys, including my five year old, who will miserably walk with me (yes, I have a double stroller, but never a babysitter, just nap time...). Please help!

Where's a resource that will help me kick into high gear to get back in shape and lose weight post partum?
Please DO NOT take any supplements while breasfeeding. You have no idea which ones can pass through breast milk to your child, and you have no idea what effect they will have on a 3 week old. This on top of the fact that supplements like hoodia are junk marketed only on hype with no real science or independently validated results behind them.

At only 3 weeks post partum, it is too soon to begin an exercise program.

Walking is a fine way to start, but don't overdo it. Once you have doctor's clearance to begin exercising (which will probably be at 6 weeks post partum), then you can look at beginning a comprehensive fitness program like Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle by Tom Venuto or Turbulence Training by Craig Ballantyne. Reply:The best way to lose weight is doing exercise.

The best type of exercise for weight loss is something you ENJOY DOING and are likely to continue doing - not just while losing weight but also as you maintain weight in the long term.

Your initial fitness goal should be to do 30 minutes of exercise each day. Thereafter, gradually increase this (ideally) to about 60 minutes of exercise per day.

The best combination of exercise is a mixture of aerobic and weight/strength training (and stretching). Aerobic and weight/strength training exercises both assist weight loss but in different ways.
