The best lotion to help a mommy belly :)?

What have you guys found to be the best lotion to help with elasticity and also with stretchmarks? My second child gave me the front stretchmarks not the big ones just the little white ones and also i feel after 2 children the skin right on the surface (minus the fat) will never go away even with crunchs so any advice appreciated :)

The best lotion to help a mommy belly :)?
Cocoa butter!

But you have to use it the whole time you are pregnant....wont work after the children have been born already...and even cocoa butter isn't a guarantee.

Some women have to get lipo to get rid of the excess "baby fat"...doesn't matter how many crunches you do either. If you have a gym or a YWCA in your area..you can talk to them about a trainer.

Besides..stretch marks are a badge of mommy hood.

;) Not all can be removed or taken off.You can tan them if you like(which is only temporary) or you can get a tummy tuck(altho you will have a long scar from that procedure too).

Time to just accept it and go hug your babies :)
Reply:the only thing i know to help is Coco Butter and Vitamin E%26amp;C
Reply:Try cocoa butter
Reply:CocoaButter or you can buy the kinds specifically for stretchmarks but they are just cocoabutter, too! Godd luck. xx
Reply:I have some bad news for you, the stretch marks will never go away, especially since you only have the small faint kind.

If they were the larger red stretch marks, they do fade sometimes, but what you have you are stuck with for life., And yes the stretched out skin will always be there as well.

Welcome to Motherhood!!!
Reply:Every one in my family got stretch marks but me. When I was pregnant I bought Vitamin E oil. It's rather thick and you don't want to stretch your skin applying it. I mixed it in lotion with coco butter and then applied it at least twice a day. As a result I also never got the itchy feeling that a lot of Mommy's to be mention. Scratching is something that also needs to be avoided. Ofcourse eating healthy and watching you weight gain also contributes to not ending up with stretch marks. Vitamin E can also help to reduce existing stretch marks, but you have to apply it regularly over a period of several months. I got rid of a scare that I'd had from childhood. It's still there but so faint that even I have to search for it.
Reply:There is a great product for you to use and it Mothers Friend.

Mothers Friend cream helps soothe and condition stretched, dry skin during pregnancy. After pregnancy Mothers Friend makes an excellent skin conditioner anytime.
Reply:Congrats on taking the first step in getting "your sexy back."

Do not buy into... they will never go away. And, they are badge of motherhood. Your kids are "Your badges of motherhood" not stretchmarks.

From my experience, feeling good... darn good about oneself even if it's just the way one feels about his or her body image contributes to being a better parent.

A little on the expense side... shop around as I have seen it for as little as $108... Strivectin SD for stretchmarks. Will even assist with the wrinkles on your tummy.

Second, invest in a Torso Track. Tummy muscles pop through in as little as 6 weeks with a few push-ups a day... just doing a 5-min workout on it before you step in the bath. Will tighten that tummy skin as it pulls the skin over other developing muscles.

Had and used mine from 1992. Also, I am not an exercise freak so I use it 1 month out of each year to keep the muscles tight then put it away until next year. Went from 142 to 196 during pregnancy... stuff my mouth with what I wanted to eat (lol). Plus, at the six weeks mark, my doc told me my tummy will always appear as if I am 10 weeks pregnant... hah... I was back in my Eddie Bauer size 4 jeans by the time my daughter hit 7 mos. Guess he never heard of the Torso Track.

Once "your sexy is back," if you do decide to go for another "badge of motherhood," start using 100% Pure Emu Oil on your tummy even before it start stretching/you showing. Keeps the skin supple and stretchmarks at bay. My husband got it for me about when I was 4 mos pregnant... and no stretch marks showed up. Considering all my family members got stretchmarks during pregnancy even starting out being skinny... I give the Emu Oil kudos.

Good Luck. Go for it Girl!
