Here's what I'm asking about. Twenty-one years ago, I was standing in one of the two Christmas-wrap lines at Marshall Fields in downtown Chicago, when I happened to glance over to my left.





There, in identical exquisite furs (coats and caps) were two females, obviously a grandmother and her granddaughter, both cast from the same slender-face, with prominent but well-shaped nose, blue-eyes and flawless, glowing alabaster skin,





The granddaughter was perfection. I see her face now--perfectly--and I love her with all my heart in this moment as I type this. This being a Living Memorial to that fleeting moment and my testament of my total longing for her, even now in this instant.





I never heard her voice or learned her name. The moment only lasted a second or two because I was so overwhelmed that I knew even then that glance would last a lifetime, could never be fulfilled and to hold it longer would be rude beyond measure, for she was so far beyond my reach as to in another world.
