Help plz!! How can I get guys to like me? (no mom or sisters so no one really to ask)?

I'm 15, sophmore in a small town (second smallest school in our conference w/ a total of about 200 students in the highschool).

I'm overweight (but dress well so I still look okay), have straight brown hair w/ a reddish tint and black streaks (it blends together really well) that reaches to the small of my back, green eyes, and fair skin.

I love to have fun and laugh, hang out w/ my friends, listen to music, and talk/text all the time. I am fun and bubbley and I have a good sense of humor. I do have low self esteem, though, and get depressed sometimes.

How can I get guys to like me (w/o changing my appearance)?? TY!!

Help plz!! How can I get guys to like me? (no mom or sisters so no one really to ask)?
Just be genuine. I'm sure there are a few guys in your school that like you already.
Reply:JUST DO YOU AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT GUY'S BECAUSE WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT THE RIGHT GUY WILL COME AROUND.
Reply:just be yourself
Reply:Just be yourself, if it is the right guy, he will luv you for you
Reply:hey ur beautiful the way u r so dont change for a guy!

i bet u there is someone that likes u, he's just nervous to tell u! just be yourself and wait for the right guy!
Reply:hey hunnie i;d say the key is confidence if you like what you see in the mirror, then others will too xx you go girl have fun xx
Reply:don't ever be fake or lie,be honest and your self and ig those girls there don't like you F them because you shouldn't change who you are for someone who doesn't want the real you
Reply:Jsut keep doing what you are doing and be yourself. You want someone to like you for you and not for what you "do" or pretend to be. The only other thing is don't get down on yourself or depressed, no reason to. If you look around and chat with more guys I'm sure you'll find a few who like you but are to shy to make the first approach.
Reply:You asked this question at the right time girlfriend, I think I can help:

1.) Don't always be in your "little group" guy don't feel comfortable around you.

2.) At lunch, always have an open seat.

3.)Wait. There is no rush, guys come naturally, they don't want to think they have to.

4.) Do not flirt TOO much, guys think its weird.

If you have any more questions, please ask, I am an expert! (*on relationships*)

Reply:I think you should never change anything, if a guy don't see a wonderful teenage they are just stupid. I think you should just go up to the guy who you like and tell him.
Reply:just be yourself!!!!!!!

I bet there is already a guy who likes u!!!!!

but he is just nervous to tell u!!!!!!!!!
Reply:To be completely honest, you sound awesome! So why do guys not like you? Well first of all, you need to understand young guys...good luck! But seriously, young guys are VERY focused on looks, and can be extremely picky, too. While your description sounds attractive (especially those green eyes!), you my need to consider looking at the "popular" girls and comparing their hair and dress with yours. You can also compare yourself with popular actresses. You should not need to spend a lot of money to look good, though.

On a much more personal level, what do the young guys in your small town like to do for fun? Would you be interested in learning to do some of those activities? Or what about sports? Maybe you can learn about some of the popular teams and players?

How you talk to and interact with these guys is the last part of the puzzle... You do not want to come across as "easy", but you do want them to know that you are fun to talk to and hang out with. So learning about their interests will allow you to sneak in the back door so to speak.

Finally, it is NOT against the rules for you to openly express your interest in a guy. Be open and honest with them, and they will most likely respond well. The guys may not think that you are interested or are scared of rejection for other reasons, so talk to them and let us know what happens!

Good luck.
