My underwear is wet all the time and it's not like a discharge. I haven't been having any signs of labor but I've heard of people leaking the fluids and they didn't know until they went to the doctors. My next appt. os the second. The baby moves a lot and I don't really look that pregnant. And since low fluid and tiny belly go hand in hand I just figured I'd ask. Like I said I'm always wet and not like a discharge. It's a clear fluid. The baby's sitting very low right on my pubic bone. I know I may be peeing myself but wouldn't I have an infection by now if I had urine sitting against my skin all the time?
How do you know if your leaking you waters?
if i were you i would go to the hospital and get that checked cause it sounds like your water broke. i had the same thing happen to me and i went to the hospital and i found out that my water had broke.
Reply:I was just at the hospital for this last night. They will do an ultrasound and they will perform a few tests that tell them if it is your water or not. Good luck. Mine turned out OK but with my last I had a pin size leak and went on to have a healthy baby. (My leak was at 24 weeks.) Tell your doctor. And no you wouldn't have an infection if you shower like you should. Good luck and congrats on the baby!!
Reply:i had that where "discharge" came out but it was watery like when u leak your water but it was just that discharge. But ya never know if u r worried go to the hospital. They take a swab to the fluid that is leaking and they are able to tell u within a minute if that is what it is. also if your water totally breaks u will know it gushes out and feels good
Reply:Sounds like your water could have broken and is slowly leaking out. Call your doctor tonight you do NOT want to wait till the 2nd. There is a test they can do to tell if it is urine or fluid. The reason why you do not want to wait is because if your water did break you are open to an infection which is not a good thing. They will act quickly to get that baby out of there the next 24 hours if it is indeed broken water. Good luck and CALL YOUR DOCTOR!
