Body Type: 5'3 108 lbs 25 years old
3 scenarios: A: I was driving ing my car and felt and extreme pain in my finger I looked and you could see my vein getting huge by my knuckle.
B: I went 5 pin bowling and rolled the second time and I started feeling the same pain in my thumb and could see my vein bulging.
C: This instance I think should have been recorded for medical research... I was sitting down playing a board game...I had a headache...nothign was helping it... when I felt this extreme pain in my knee,(headache gone) so I lifted my jeans to take a look (since i never bumped it anywhere and I found it strange.) I looked and to my suprise you could see about 4 inches in length of my vein bulging my skin right on my knee cap! then you saw it release in about 5 min (headache back) and boom i was left with a nasty looking bruise about 4 inches in diameter.
(in a result after 10 min of extreme pain in each case the effected area was bruised black/blue)
I think there is something wrong with my veins a/o blood any opinions?
I would go see a dr immediately ... you don't want it to be a travelling clot or anything like that ... since you can describe what happened and if you still have bruising in the areas that might help them determine what could be wrong ... but I'd definitly call immediately and speak to the nurse or doctor
Reply:the finger thing could of been caused by weak circulation, but the others, I have no idea of how they could happen.
Reply:Tell your DR. about these symptoms. It sounds like you are able to describe them quite well so a diagnosis should be quick and easy.
Reply:i suggest you go see a vein specialist.(cardio-vascular specialists) how long had this been? does it occur once a day, week, month? add more details please.
if it appears to hurt, describe the way it hurts, does it feel num, cramped, shock, burn? please add that too. observe where the area is. tell the doctor where abouts it is, how does it feel, when does this occur, any other symtoms, also tell the actions that occured it.(eg: like you said before, it started to feel painful when you bowled)
i may not help you, but the doctor can. i really recommend you this. by the way, if this continues, go to the doctor... i hope some this infotmation helps, if u add more information, i can help you more.
