Hope is like a drug
When you have it you know it
You can feel it in your blood feel it in your heart
But when it’s gone it’s cold like a rainy night
You can feel it’s absence piercing through the skin
It’s wet and stings like so many things that can’t be replaced
Hope, when it’s gone is like a poison infecting the body
Spreading slowly killing all that was once good
All your dreams wishes and fears disappear like they meant nothing
Hope…….whether you have it or not is a hallucinogen it gives you what you want and what’s not there it makes you second guess the things you hold dear
Makes you wonder if it’s real. It makes you embrace the one thing you’ve always had and may always have ………nothing

Read this and tell me what you think?
It is depressing but deep.I can't say I'm crazy about this poem but can understand how life without hope could be.
Reply:I think that you should make an effort to find the author this and give him/her credit. It's all true.
