How can I get rid of this acne? ; ;?

I've seen a bunch of help stuff, but nothing is working for me. I've tried everything, seriously. I used to just wash my face a little with some astringent, then I got pills (tetracycline hydrochloride) too, started using Tretinoin, and then I tried altering my diet a little...

Well, now I use the Proactiv cycle three times a day (I also clean up my face with some astringent whenever it feels dirty), I jog for about half an hour a day, and I've cut out a lot of dairy and things that are high in sugar (like chocolate and some tomato-y products) from my diet. I quit the Tetracycline because of the nasty side effects and I quit using Tretinoin 'cause it seemed damaging to my skin.

My acne isn't even THAT bad, it's just not getting any better. I've been doing the stuff in the second paragraph for about 3 months now, and I'm not seeing any improvement.

Please help me out.

Anything information you have.

Thanks.

How can I get rid of this acne? ; ;?
ok listen if you want your skin to clear up simply do these thing's. i had acne, and i wish some one would have told me this along time ago. First Get out in the sun as much as possible!! i tan every day and my face clears more and more up. ALYWAYS wash your face. i wash mine proably 4 times per day, try to stay away from greasy food's and soda's and items with alot of sugar. that will help but the main thing to do to clear it up is to wash your face all the time. and DEFF get in the sun all of the time. dont be inside all day go outside.. trust me this works..
Reply:Well I use Avon blackhead and acne cleanser. It works so well. It is only $6.
Reply:maybe you should stop washing your face so much. washing it all the time can dry it out and cause more break outs. you shouldn't change your lifestyle totally because of a little acne. just eat healthy, stay healthy fit wise, don't overwash your skin, and you should see some improvement. also, you could see a dermotologist, if your not already. hope this helps.
Reply:I got on birth control for my acne. it cleared it ALL up.
Reply:Before you spend another dime on those meds and other items that do work a little, you do need to stop using so much of it!

Second, you skins best friend is water! Starting drink a lot of water! No soda, nothing else besides juice. Water is key if you want your skin to clean up!

I drink a ton of water everyday and my skin is no longer oily at all! Smooth, no problems!

Start drinking lots of water and in a few days you will notice a big difference.

Also, when you wash your face....one in the morning and once before bed....use warm water to start, cold water to finish. This is open your pores and close them.
Reply:All you need is honey and cinnamon!

Reply:i tried a zinc vitamin about 20mg a day and not only did it help with my acne but it some how stops you from smelling exp. like under arms or feet even without deodorant after using it for about 2 weeks odd but true ,but if your acne is not getting any worse or is even getting better then maybe whats bothering you is the acne scars if so try one of those home dema abrasion kits but if you do i suggest you use aloe gel and 1 vitamin e cap on your skin at night and SPF 45 or 60 during the day
Reply:My sister and I swear by a skin care line called Serious Skin Care. They have acne washes which have 1% and 2%Salicylic Acid. Then their is the Glycolic Cleanser, and that has Glycolic Acid in it. I use it three times a day with a great face moisturizer it works a charm. I have noticed if I take a day off of using it I break out!!! You have to order these online, and they are a little expensive, but it's TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

Good Luck

Hope this Helps
Reply:Go to your local mall or go to Clinique.com and find the closest Clinique Counter. They are all trained in skin care, and will skin type you based on your skin concerns... I had annoying acne that wasnt bad but would just never go away like you, and i used EVERYTHING, but never went the extra mile with the pills and all (but had friends that had)... It's $56.50 usually for a 3 step, which is soap (in a bar or liquid), clarifying lotion (which is better than an astrigent or toner, because it is an exfoliator, toner and astrigent in one), and a lotion or gel depending on your skin type (how dry versus oily you are) This line is great, and after 6 weeks, you should definately have clear skin. They also have a scrub and a product called total turnaround concentrate, which is equal to microdermabrasion but in a cream form like a lotion and makes your skin soooo soft. I only highly reccomend these products, because i tried it as a last resort when PROACTIVE made my skin worse. Clinique really has a product to help you with every skin concern and they are so smart and knowlegeable! Plus they have a "bonus gift" 2 times a year and you can spend over a certian amount and get a gift, a bag with different prducts in it... I love thier skin care and makeup!
Reply:What proactive doesn't work on you? Maybe you should extend usage a little bit longer coz my sister has this serious acne problem and she uses proactive too. Its works on her. Now only traces of acne scars are evident. Be a little more patient. Believe me it doesn't work overnight!
Reply:Try the Serious Skin Care Line of acne products called Serious Clear. You can purchase from the Home Shopping Network go to HSN.com

Try the Dri Lo, excellent product.

It has worked for me.
